Once upon a time in a dainty village named Walnut, a little girl was born on a crisp February morning. The story of God is woven throughout her 20 years of life. Through her dark years in junior high through the even darker years of depression in high school, God never failed to shine his revealing light into her life, never letting her lose sight of him.

The little girl, now an adult woman, saw God’s light through the darkness and followed it. Through depression and addiction, the girl grabbed hold of the light and followed it out of the entangling thorns of Satan. She knew she couldn’t focus on school much longer and gave a year of her life up to the Lord, completely up to him and his service.

Now the girl stands on foreign ground, thousands of miles away from everything that was familiar, serving the Lord with all she has. Every day is a new experience, a new step further out of her comfort zone. Here, in this land, the girl is discovering herself and the purpose God has planned for her. This is the story of her journey…
